I am David Bentley AICB Cert PM Dip and operate from Aldersyde House in York, specialising in bookkeeping, payroll management, including auto enrolment, and the completion of personal tax returns. All potential new clients are offered a free, without obligation, initial consultation. If they decide to go ahead a letter of Engagement, to be signed by both parties, is drawn up by me setting out all relevant terms and conditions.

Long Established

I trade as D B Bookkeeping and Payroll. Since May 2012, I have held Practice Licence 12440 issued by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) which was granted after demonstrating the necessary competencies by way of formal examinations. In addition, I have the cushion of professional indemnity insurance and am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number Z3449745.

Before starting my business, I had over 40 years’ experience in general accounts work and business support. This was mainly in central government including the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Department of Trade and Industry, the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, Yorkshire Forward and Leeds City Council.
